New Garden Warfare Video Walks Through A Game Of Gardens & Graveyards

Gardens & Graveyards will be a familiar mode to practiced multiplayer shooter players, but it definitely has its own distinct Plants vs. Zombies flavor in Garden Warfare.

Along with showing off the new mode, which tasks zombies and plants with capturing assorted locations, along with a handful of other goals, the video also offers a healthy look at gameplay and the new map, Driftwood Shores.

Driftwood Shores has mountainous grasslands, castles, and pirate ships – a far cry from the familiar neighborhood map  we have been seeing in nearly every piece of media fro the game since its original announcement.

Plants vs. Zombies: Garden Warfare is coming to Xbox One and Xbox 360 on February 18.

Saints Row 4 E3 demo walks and talks West Wing style

For those who weren’t at E3, here is the walk-and-talk through of Saints Row 4‘s behind-closed-doors presentation. It starts off with a Sorkinian West Wing opening and gets playfully ludicrous from there.

Your guide on this journey is Jim Boone, senior producer of the game, who shows off the game’s new alien threat, the Blackhole Launcher and some of the new player superpowers. We always knew there were nukes under the White House, but who knew about the double-cannon flak guns?

Preordering the game – along with previously mentioned bonuses – will also net costumes The Iron Rogue and Queen Amazonia. Just gonna skirt that similarity lawsuit.

Cyberpunk 2077 co-creator talks source material, walks city streets

Cyberpunk 2077 is based on Mike Pondsmith’s pen and paper roleplaying game, Cyberpunk 2020. Both versions are set in Night City, a gritty, dangerous playground filled with people attempting to survive in a transhumanist world. It’s an ideal scenario for a video game, and Pondsmith had offers before CD Projekt Red stepped up.

As Pondsmith explains in the above behind-the-scenes video, he chose CD Projekt Red because the team was fanatical about the game and wouldn’t try to change the feel of it. Cyberpunk 2077 is a mature version of Cyberpunk 2020, but more expansive, more tactile and more dangerous. Hear what Pondsmith has to say about his franchise going digital above, or just watch it for the beautiful shots of the rainy, nighttime cityscape that inspired the game’s first trailer.
