Goat Simulator Waste Of Space DLC Coming To PS4 Tomorrow

Goat Simulator – love it or hate it – is one of the quirkiest goat simulation games on the market today. The expansion, Waste of Space, came out on PC, Linux, and Mac in May of last year, but the add-on is finally making the jump to PlayStation 4.

The DLC is a parody of all things space, from Star Wars to Star Trek and everything in between. A recent PlayStation Blog post references romance options, so it may or may not be a coincidence that the PS4 release of this add-on coincides with the release of Mass Effect: Andromeda. Check out the trailer for this endearingly absurd expansion to the Goat Simulator universe:

Goat Simulator: Waste of Space comes out on PlayStation 4 tomorrow, March 21. It is unclear if and when the DLC will be coming to other consoles; Goat Simulator is also available on PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, and Xbox One, as well as iOS and Android. Red our original review here.

Kumail Nanjiani Is A “Space Frog” In Mass Effect: Andromeda

BioWare has released a funny video revealing that Kumail Nanjiani (HBO's Silicon Valley, Game Informer's Replay) is playing a role in Mass Effect: Andromeda. While the character's name isn't unveiled, he is described as a "space frog," which means it's probably a salarian. Watch the video below for the full exchange.

With Andromeda's March 21 launch arriving soon, we won't have to wait too long know more details about Nanjiani's role.

Our Take:
Kumail Nanjiani is hilarious, and BioWare has traditionally made good use of the celebrities it casts for notable roles. Between him and the other confirmed voice talent for Andromeda, I'm even more excited about the conversations on the horizon.

Report: Switch Menu Leak Reveals Extra Storage Space For Dev Units

Nintendo is broadcasting an ad during this weekend's Super Bowl, showing off the Nintendo Switch (and little more than a second of Breath of the Wild). The company's Portugal wing apparently showed a bit more than it had planned to, uploading a version of the ad on YouTube that included a few shots of the console's developer menus.

The video has been pulled, but a fast-fingered NeoGAF user snapped some screengrabs beforehand. The menus show off a few interesting under-the-hood tidbits, such as an option to display the device's remaining battery life as a percentage, brightness settings, and automatic date and time updates.

Perhaps the biggest thing featured, however, is that the developer units apparently feature 64 GB of internal storage, as opposed to the 32 GB that the retail units are shipping with. To be clear, this is storage space, not RAM, so it's not likely that this would have any effect on game development at all.

Our Take
This is slightly embarrassing for Nintendo, mostly for releasing a video that featured placeholder footage instead of gameplay. Players will be able to upgrade their Switch's capacity by 2 terabytes, but I don't think anyone would have complained about having an additional 32 GB out of the gate.

See 17 Minutes Of Space Hulk: DeathWing’s Solo Campaign In Action

Space Hulk: Deathwing is based on the Warhammer 40K universe and GameWork Shop's strategy board game. In the video game, heavily armored space marines must fight off a swarm-like alien race called the Tyranid. Space Hulk Deathwing's solo campaign tasks you with leading a squad and commanding them to hack doors, destroy enemies, and provide cover for your advances.

In just a few short weeks, it's coming to PC, on December 9 to be exact, and will follow up consoles in early 2017. You can get a taste of what you'll experience in the team-based, first-person shooter in the 17 minutes of footage from the solo campaign below that Focus Home Interactive just released. It looks all kinds of intense and creepy.
