THQ won’t have a booth at Gamescom, the world’s largest gaming show this August in Germany, but it may have a minimal presence. As GamesIndustry reports, the situation could be similar to THQ’s presence at E3. The publisher plans to have meetings in the expo’s conference rooms, but no presence on the show floor. A THQ representative tells GamesIndustry International that “the team is still discussing options” for Gamescom.
THQ’s Darksiders 2 was recently delayed until August. Gamescom is easily the largest video game consumer and trade show in the world, welcoming 275,000 visitors in 2011. THQ is currently going through some serious financial difficulties.
